October 2024
First and foremost, thank you for all your continued support. Whether it’s been through your encouragement or feedback, it has meant the world to me. I hope you’re enjoying the monthly newsletter and find the content interesting and insightful. If you have any requests for research topics or want to dive deeper into specific subjects, feel free to reach out! I’m always eager to explore new ideas and share them with you.
Now, I’m excited to share some thrilling news with you—The Electrician and the Seamstress, is officially ready to order!
After months of hard work, The Electrician and the Seamstress is finally out in the world, and I couldn’t be more proud. Axel, Abby, and I have been busy promoting the book, and I’m thrilled to say that the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive! Professional reviews have been encouraging, and I’ve been fortunate enough to book several speaking engagements to talk about the novel and my journey.
But now, I need your help! Here’s how you can support me and my novel:
- Read the novel I can’t wait to hear what you think!
- Post a review on platforms like Amazon or Goodreads. Reviews are so important for new authors and can make a huge difference.
- Follow me on social media and engage with my posts. The more people who interact with my content, the greater reach the book will have.
- Spread the word tell your friends, family, and coworkers! Personal recommendations are powerful.
In addition to the novel, I’m also offering something special for the rest of the year—through the end of December, I am making myself available to speak at your community or church event at no charge1.This is a limited-time offer and represents up to a $2,500 value. If you know of any groups, organizations, or events that might benefit from a guest speaker, I would love to be involved. Simply email me or pass along my contact info.
Some of the topics I’m currently booked to speak about include:
- My journey from 30 years in the corporate world to becoming an author
- World War II, exploring what we can learn from history and how those lessons apply today
- My novel, The Electrician and the Seamstress, and the inspirations behind it
Again, thank you all so much for your support. This has been an incredible journey, and it wouldn't be possible without each and every one of you. I can’t wait to share more updates with you soon!
Warm regards,
Monica Granlove
1 No charge speaking engagement: in person will depend on timing and location at the discretion of the author. Travel fees may apply outside North Carolina. Virtual event requests are accepted.
