1.00 In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients
2.00 Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring well to dissolve the sugar.
3.00 Once it reaches a simmer, reduce the heat to low and let it gently simmer for about 10-15 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
4.00 If you've included anchovy fillets, make sure they dissolve into the sauce. You can use a whisk to help with this.
5.00 Remove the saucepan from heat and let the Worcestershire sauce cool to room temperature.
