1.00 Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
2.00 Sweat the onions and bell peppers in a skillet over medium heat using a small amount of cooking oil.
3.00 Prepare the Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, beaten eggs, cooked chopped onion and peppers
4.00 Season the Mixture: Add salt, black pepper, dried mustard, ketchup, and ground allspice to the mixture. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.
5.00 Shape the Meatloaf: Form the meat mixture into a loaf shape and place it in a baking dish or on a lined baking sheet.
6.00 Bake: Place the meatloaf in the preheated oven and bake for approximately 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
7.00 Glaze (Optional): During the last 15 minutes of baking, you can brush the top of the meatloaf with additional ketchup for a glaze.
